I’m not making this up.
I just finished writing the “Golf Outing” post you can find below. Out of habit, I immediately did a search for celebrity birthdays, because sometimes I’ll tie a blog post to someone’s birthday (using a cartoon I drew or a video clip).
So who has a birthday today (Oct. 8)? Chevy Chase. Yes, Chevy Chase, whose mantra in “Caddyshack” — “Be the ball” — inspired the “Golf Outing” short story.
Again, I’m not making this up.
I’m gonna go play the lottery. Or, better yet, go golfing.
Happy birthday, Chevy. (He’s 65 by the way, if you can believe it.)
